Pet Owner AssistanceMoney is set aside each year to assist pet owners who are not able to pay the entire cost of expensive medications, procedures or surgeries their pet requires. By calling the office and completing an application, a person may request assistance for pet expenses. This fund has helped countless families pay for costly medical treatments and surgeries that they could not have afforded without assistance.

Adoption ProgramDuring regular operating hours, visitors are welcome to adopt the cats and kittens in our building that are available for adoption. Dogs are available at our weekly Sunday Adoption Events. Each Sunday afternoon, we host an area rescue group in an effort to help them find homes for the animals they have in foster care. Interested Rescues can contact us to be our Sunday guest.

Community Cat ProgramTNR (trap, neuter/spay and return) is the process of humanely trapping free roaming cats, having them spayed or neutered, vaccinating them, having their left ear “tipped,” and then returning the cat to the location it was living. In order to continue this strong, successful program, we are always in need of trappers, colony caregivers, transporters, and foster homes.

Pet Food PantryHendricks County residents who are in need or in jeopardy of surrendering their pet due to the lack of pet food are helped through this program. Those in need can register with us to pick up food once a month. Pets on this program must be spayed or neutered so this program also provides funding for a spay or neuter surgery for the pets.
