Donate & fundraisers
We invite you to support our efforts to reduce pet overpopulation and keep pets in loving homes. Gifts in memory are a sincere way to show remembrance after the death of a loved one. Donations can also be made to honor a friend or family member’s birthday, anniversary, or special occasion.
Other support of shopping our on-line fundraisers, donations via our retailer Wish Lists, donating your vehicles or remembering Hendricks County Humane Society Ark in your estate planning will help us provide our services to needy dogs and cats of Hendricks County. See below for many of these options.

Donation options include one-time or monthly. We are honored to accept donations made
in memory of a loved one passed or to honor a living person or pet.
All donations will support our programs of Spay/Neuter Assistance, Pet Food Pantry,
Pet Owner Financial Assistance for pets, and Community Cat Assistance.
Pet Food , toys, supplies Donations
Our pet food pantry is always in need of dry and canned food for adult dogs and adult cats.
It is also nice if we can offer our pet food clients some pet toys, treats and supplies i.e. leashes, beds, etc.
On Wednesdays from 1pm - 5pm, donations can be given to volunteers at the building, this is preferable to ensure donations are properly stored.
Other times donations can be left on the building covered porch. Check out our wish lists below that can be shipped to our building.

CARS handles everything and sends Hendricks Humane a check for your vehicle donation .
All vehicles are considered! We strive to accept all types of donated vehicles (running or not)
including cars, trucks, trailers, boats, RVs, motorcycles, campers, etc.

Gifts of Stocks, QCDs, Donor Advised Fund & Retirement Fund Gifts
We gratefully accept direct transfers of stock, qualified charitable distributions from IRA
and other funds, gifts from donor advised funds (DAFs),
and others. More below, or contact us at giving@hendrickshumane.org
for more information. Consult your financial or legal advisors about what’s right for you.
QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTIONS: IRA owners who are 70.5 years or older can make tax-free gifts of up to $100,000 to a charity like Hendricks County Humane Society.
