Hendricks Humane is committed to helping reduce pet over-population, by providing options for spay/neuter services at a discounted rate. Periodically, based on funding, Hendricks Humane makes available spay/neuter vouchers for owned dogs and cats. Hendricks County residents can register for these by clicking the dog or cat sign up button to see available dates. Cat sign up includes indoor/outdoor or outdoor cats that can be transported in a carrier.

The Pet Food Pantry serves the dogs & cats of Hendricks County residents. Pet Food Pantry participants are required to show proof of Hendricks County residence and may request food once every 30 days. Please fill out this registration form if you are in need of pet food assistance.

Pet Owner Assistance
Hendricks Humane offers assistance to Hendricks County residents who are not able to pay the entire cost of expensive medications, procedures or surgeries their pet requires. Supplies such as proper outdoor shelters, indoor crates, water dishes, collars, etc may also be available for their pets. Please fill out the request form if you're in need of assistance.

Community Cats
We offer free TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) services. We work with low cost clinics for Spay and Neuter services for our community and feral cats. If you have cats in your area needing spayed or neutered or you need help with trapping them please fill out the form below. |
Humane Education
Our Humane Educators provide a wide-range of programs tailored to meet the needs of students in pre-school through high school, scout troops, book clubs, and community organizations. Just a few of the areas of interest that have been discussed include: Dogs Around the World, Responsible Pet Ownership, Safety Around Animals, Reducing Pet Overpopulation, and Respect for Wildlife. |
