Hendricks Humane Receives Recognition For the Sixth Year by Cascade High School

Hendricks County Humane Society, (Hendricks Humane) a nonprofit organization focused on facilitating animal welfare by being a voice for the animals, ending pet overpopulation, furthering the people animal bond and educating the community on the humane care of animals, was honored as a Community Partner for the sixth year by Cascade High School THRIVE during their End of the Year Award Celebration in May.

Petco Love and Hendricks Humane Aim to Stop the Spread of Deadly Preventable

Hendricks Humane will provide free vaccinations for Hendricks County family cats. The no-cost vaccines are made possible through Petco Love's new national vaccination initiative, which is providing one million free pet vaccines for family pets in need to existing animal welfare partners, including Hendricks Humane.

Hendricks Humane Donates to County Libraries to Educate Youth About Animals

The Hendricks County Humane Society donated $7,000 to all six libraries in Hendricks County after receiving a grant from the Build-A-Bear Foundation to promote humane education for Hendricks County youth ages 6-14. All libraries were given over $1,000 to be spent on any means of literature and learning that involve animals and pet care.
